2026-2027 Early Withdraw Policy
Registration is for the full swim season.
- Before withdrawing: The family must discuss the proposed withdrawal with the Head Coach.
- Written notice: If the family decides to proceed, written notice must be sent to the Head Coach and copied to the TCSC Treasurer.
- The withdrawal takes effect once the Treasurer confirms receipt.
REFUND SCHEDULE :
| Before December 20th | 60% |
| December 21st-February 28th | 30% |
| March 1st- March 31st | 15% |
| After March 31st | No Refund |
- Refunds are calculated on the remaining program fees.
- NON-REFUNDABLE: The Swim Nova Scotia fee is non-refundable.
- Any outstanding meet fees or other costs incurred on behalf of the swimmer must be paid before a refund is issued.
- Account reconciliation: Before a swimmer’s withdrawal is finalized, the swimmer’s account must be reconciled.
- Program fees owing to the effective withdrawal date, meet fees or other expenses incurred on behalf of the swimmer, outstanding Big Swim or volunteer commitments, and any other amounts owing to the Club remain payable. Any applicable refund will be issued once the account has been fully reconciled.
- Exceptional circumstances: Families may request an exception to the refund schedule for a documented medical reason or permanent relocation. Requests must be submitted in writing with supporting information and will be reviewed by the TCSC Board of Directors. Any refund or adjustment is at the Board’s discretion.
